Hello, my name is Tammy Mollai. I am a loving wife, mother, daughter, friend, web developer/designer, and blogger. I am the voice and mind behind foodpassionandlove.com. I created this blog to be able to share my passion and love for making healthy food that not only tastes good but makes us feel good.
I was born and raised in Iran, and I constantly incorporate Persian spices and cooking techniques to create a new style food. Before settling down in Santa Rosa for the past 30 years, I spent time living in London, Los Angeles and Houston.
Many people who love to cook can trace their passion back to an influential experience or friend/relative who inspired them in a culinary passion. For me, my grandmother sparked my inspiration and showed me the basics from an early age. From the conversations and laughter, to the food we ate, my grandmother made everyone feel loved. To this day, I try to carry her tradition to fill the kitchen with love.
This blog is a collection of healthy recipes designed to be made, shared, and enjoyed with family and friends. Also, I hope to inspire those that have forgotten the benefits of cooking your own meals to get back into the kitchen. I like to best describe my blog as a roadway to food, passion, and love.
Please contact me with any questions or comments you may have about how to make a dish healthier. I always love a new challenge and the ability to help others. Nothing makes me happier than to hear a recipe of mine has made its way into another home.
Thank you for visiting my blog!

In my experience, food and passion always intertwine. Passion is food for the soul’s mood at any particular time. ”Tammy Mollai”
