Serve 4 people
Ingredients
- 3 skinless and boneless chicken breast
- 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes
- 1/4 small onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1/4 cup nonfat Greek yogurt
- 1/4 teaspoon saffron
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Direction:
1- Cut the chicken into 1 1/2 inch cubes.
2- In a mixing bowl add all the remaining ingredients & mix well.
3- Add Chicken to the mixture & mix well so that chicken gets coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 3 hours.
4- Soak the bamboo skewers in cold water for about 2 hours so they don’t get burned during the grilling process and put them aside.
5- Remove the chicken from the refrigerator and allow it to return to room temperature. Thread the chicken pieces on skewers and place them on grill.
6- Cook for 10 to 15 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink.
7- Serve immediately with flat bread or over plain rice.
